We work with people from all walks of life. Families and individuals are able to access one or multiple services to provide support for strengths based change. Thinking of purchasing a vehicle? Get it checked by an independent mechanic.
A pre-purchase vehicle inspection costs between $100-200. This could save A LOT of money on repairs down the track.
Ask your mechanic for advice on common faults of the car you are considering buying.
Ask the dealer if they have checked that no finance is owing on the car. You don’t want your car being repossessed for non-payment by the previous owner!

Family Service Centre Update: Open again next Tuesday

Our building remains closed while we wait for water testing results. Because we’re on a private water supply, we need to ensure it’s safe and free of contaminants before we can reopen for you. Annoying? YES. It's still the safest option - so we'll see you next Tuesday :-)

In the meantime, here are some options if you need contraception or sexual health support:

🔹 Running low on the pill?
Option 1: Visit your local pharmacy for an emergency supply consultation. This usually costs around $25 and can give you a short supply until we reopen (Take your current pillpack with you).
Option 2: Call your GP or practice nurse for a prescription.

🔹 Need the emergency contraceptive pill (ECP)?
The ECP is free from most pharmacies. You can walk in and ask to speak privately to the pharmacist, and then ask them about getting it.

🔹 Due for your Depo-Provera injection?
There is a generous grace period of two weeks. If needed, you can use another method of protection or contact your GP for further support.

We’ll reopen as soon as our water test results come back clear.
If you have contraception questions, our nurse is happy for you to text her directly during business hours 0272943024

Thanks for your patience and understanding 💙

Kia ora koutou - Our building is closed during the state of emergency. This includes all afterhours bookings for private groups.
If you have a booked appointment during the state of emergency, consider it postponed and your staff member will get back to you re-book, once we're open again. We'll post again once we're open
Stay safe and dry everyone.
