Thanks to Cyclone Hale it was a bit touch an go, but in short, we’re on!

The roads are cleared and there is sunshine in the forecast.

HOWEVER, we’ve just sent our most intrepid traveller - Liz Hoskin - on a reccy and she has informed us that the roads are ‘passable, but very potholey’. (We'll take some photos and add them here on our way up this afternoon.)

Because of this, we’d suggest driving in daylight, and perhaps not in a Suzuki Swift.

Attached is the Party Plan so you can time your arrival appropriately and, of course, get excited.

If anyone is no longer coming, please let us know, otherwise - drive safe and see you tomorrow!

Welcome to definitely, probably, certainly, maybe your best Facebook post of 2022.

Are you coming are you coming are you coming are you coming????

We are all very much looking forward to seeing you at Magical Moehau on the 14th and 15th January.

Below are some details of what will be happening. But, all we really need to know is ARE YOU COMING???

Fun features for fabulous foolishness include:
💦🚀 slip n slide (BYO inflatable, togs optional)
🧚‍♀️fairy table comp (judged on structure, style and sustainability)
🍹 cocktails on the deck
🍗 communal meal that will be themed
⛳️ holey moley golf
🏆 the “challenge” (secret af)

We’d also like you to bring an up-to-date family tree of your household/bach to show off your royal lineage to all and piece this gigantic family puzzle.

It’s high time we had another Moehau get-together!

Let's gather the whanau across generations to meet new faces, tell old stories and marvel at the place we all love so dearly.

On Saturday Jan 14, 2023 we’re proposing:

🤹‍♂️ Traditional Group Challenge (details to follow)
followed by
🍹 Happy Hour
and
🍗 Shared Meal

We know lots of baches are rostered, but hopefully we can share, or tent city for what (we’re hoping) will be an epic weekend.

Edward 'Ted' Owen Davenport Parry was born 31st July at 3.16kg to Elena & Rick! Congratulations both, shall we take bets on how long before he's got a fishing rod in his hand?

⛔️ ROAD CLOSURE ⛔️

Please note that if you are going to Moehau at any time between Monday 12 July and 31 August there will be road works on the stretch of road between Papa Aroha and Amodeo Bay, and the road could be closed Monday – Friday except for specific times.

Please plan your trips to avoid long (up to 4 hour) delays.
Although it does not say so on this notice, the TCDC website does assure us that the road will only be closed Monday to Friday. Let’s hope they are right!
