Greetings all friends and followers - if you need us to help you the process is best activated by simply calling 111 - POLICE - explain your situation and request assistance - this is the quickest and easiest way to get a response from our Mountain Rescue Team.
If you feel your life or health (you or others) is threatened and that you need help to resolve that - the earlier you can call the quicker we can respond.
Weather changes and darkness can make the whole job a lot more involved and longer if you delay.
Any injury (even quite small) that immobilises you or someone in your party is a serious problem - removal from the environment is the only way it can be resolved.
Use your mobile phone to dial 111 or activate a PLB.

It has been a fairly busy week for the team. One rescue of lost trampers from the Queens Drive on Sunday night. With some ace flying in strong winds and using Night Vision. Then on Thursday afternoon a climber took a lead fall on the West face of Double Cone injuring his ankle. His climbing partner helped him hobble half way around the Queens Drive as cloud was preventing a heli evac. When the the cloud did lift the team helped him back to the waiting heli. Thanks to the team of volunteers for always being available.
