See New Zealand Wildlife, Rainbow Trout, Native Birds and Farm Animals, Treetops Walk, Freshwater Spring, plus Lion Park. Open every day of the year from 8am till dark (365 days). Allow at least 1.5 hours and tickets are valid all day. Lion Pride Feeding 2.30pm daily
Kea and Possum Feeding 3.00pm daily

We are OPEN from Friday the 17th of April following clean up of the second largest flood in our park's long history on the night of the 8th of April. A huge thank you to all of our staff and others who offered their help, you've all done an amazing job.

Sorry we are CLOSED Thursday the 16th of April 2026 to clean up after heavy rain and extensive flooding in the park on the 9th of April. We hope to be open on Friday the 17th, this is to be confirmed. This page will be updated when we are open again. Thank you for understanding.

Dads go FREE this Father’s Day Sunday 7th of September!

As long as each Dad has a paying person with him - adult or child - then he’s no charge.

Lion cub patting is still available with our big lion cubs from 10.45am and 3.15pm daily (through a mesh fence to make it safe for all ages to meet them), Lion Feeding with our pride at 2.30pm and Kea and Possum feeding at 3pm each day.

Treat mum to an experience this Mother’s Day as we offer FREE entry to all mums on Sunday 11th May 2025! Remember our six month old Lion Cubs can still be patted from 10.45am and 3.15pm daily (now through a safety barrier).

Mums must be accompanied by their child/ren and have at least one paying person with them.

Rotorua locals: bring along proof of address and photo ID for each local adult to receive a half price discount off our standard admission too! 🦁

Due to an unavoidable vet appointment for one of our Lion Cubs there may be changes, delays or cancellations with Cub patting sessions today - 22nd February 2025.

Please keep an eye out for updates. We appreciate everyone’s understanding while we prioritise our Cubs at this time.

Christmas came early at Paradise Valley Springs as we welcomed our two newest additions on the 4th November 2024! These two cuties are now able to be patted by visitors at 10:45am and 3:15pm daily 🦁

The programme timings are drop off from 9.45am and pick up at 4.00pm. The cost is $85.00 per child (8-14 years) per day.
