Safety is our number one priority 🤍

A huge thank you to Peak Safety Ltd for delivering first aid training to our team this week.

From patient assessments and accident scene management to airway care, breathing emergencies, CPR, and defibrillator use, our team spent the evening sharpening the skills that help keep both our guests and each other safe.

The training extended beyond the classroom too. Our zipline guides and operations managers spent the day in the forest to work through realistic emergency scenarios, practising how they would respond in the environment where they operate every day.

Regular training is an important part of what we do, ensuring our team is prepared, confident, and ready to respond when it matters most.

The Rimu have stood watch for centuries, reaching high into the sky above.

In te Ao Māori, the great trees of Tāne, god of the forest, were known as Ngā Tokotoko-o-te-rangi — the posts that hold the heavens aloft. Standing beneath these giants, it's easy to understand why.

Some of our oldest Rimu have been growing for over 1,000 years, connecting Ranginui (Sky father) above and Papatūānuku (Mother Earth) below, while providing a home for countless birds and insects.

These are the giants of our forest 🌿💚
