Sparky - The Fire Engine A local iconic attraction that has been operating in Rotorua and throughout the Bay of Plenty for many years, loved by children and parents alike.

Sparky - the Fire Engine can be found most weekends at the Rotorua Lakefront - Village Green. Rides are $4, which includes a great ride, stamp and lollypop

Fireman Hats are also available to purchase

Sparky can also be hired along with his Crew for functions - such as :
School Gala's
Fundraisers
Christmas Parties

Just remember that Sparky needs room to move, he enjoys giving the kids a really g

ood ride, so the back yard is no good, he needs a school field, sports field or carpark to operate safely.

Hi all....just an update
I no longer operate at the Rotorua Lake front......due to unreasonable conditions.
Sparky is still operating for private bookings and events.
BUT..........the time has come to pass Sparky onto some one new .....and therefore Sparky is up for sale.......if interested....contact me

Hi everyone........I will be supporting the Breast Cancer Society on Friday 2nd May.......by giving rides at the village green Rotorua from 1000 - 1200.
All money taken will be given to the society.......so come down and support a great cause..........Sparky is proud to support this cause.....remember........real flashing lights......real siren........get to wear a fire helmet for the ride.......and then get a lolly and a stamp of Sparky.......and mum or dad can go as well....see you there !!

Sorry to all my fans......but I will not be giving rides at the Rotorua lakefront this Easter........would have loved to have been there, but due to a fair booking the whole of the green exclusively .........Rotorua Council say's I'm not allowed. Hopefully weather permitting I will be at the lakefront 26 & 27 April.......look forward to seeing you then.......have a fun and safe Easter

Hi everyone.........just some info on Sparky - The Fire Engine
he was built in Auckland by a panal be**er in 1998
He is designed on an 1981 International fire engine in the colours of the day.
From some of the early photos....you will notice that there is one big red light in the centre......this has been upgraded to two smaller ones on each side. Also he now has flashing headlights and forward and rear facing LED's.
Sparky can fit up to 12 children split between front and rear compartments
Sparky is powered by a twin carb petrol 1300cc Toyota Corrolla engine.
