It was wonderful to visit Stratford Community House last week and meet Sally, the Administrator, and Trust Chairwoman Mary.

Opened in January 2011, Stratford Community House provides office and meeting space for multiple social service agencies in the town. It's awesome that so many social and community services can come together under one roof.

Thank you for everything you do for the local community.

Final election results for Stratford District Council have now been released, following a closely contested race for the Mayoralty, Māori Ward, and some Urban Ward positions.

Your Elected Members for the next 3 years are...

Rural Ward Councillors: Steve Beck, Grant Boyde, Amanda Harris, Katherine Sextus.
