Keep Me Safe at the Pool 💙

Our lifeguards are here to help, but caregivers are their child's personal lifeguard.

✅ 5 years & under: An adult (16+) must be in the water and within arm's reach at all times.
✅ 6 to 10 years: An adult (16+) must provide active supervision, staying close enough to see, hear, and assist immediately if needed.
📱 Leave your phone behind and keep your eyes on the water.

Remember, child supervision ratios apply, and children will be issued wristbands to help our lifeguards identify who requires supervision.

First established as an outdoor pool in 1971, Greerton Aquatic & Leisure Centre has grown into a fully enclosed aquatic and fitness facility featuring three pools, the onsite Clubfit gym, and a recently installed sauna. Open seven days a week, visitors can enjoy our heated 25m Lap Pool, Hydrotherapy Pool, and Learners Pool.

Open year-round, the centre serves as a valuable hub for the local community, offering BaySwim Learn to Swim programmes for children and adults, alongside a wide range of aquatic, fitness, and wellbeing opportunities.

Located in the heart of Greerton, the facility offers something for everyone, from lane swimming and aqua aerobics to sensory swimming, hydrotherapy, and recreational swimming. Whether you're learning, training, rehabilitating, or simply looking to stay active, Greerton Aquatic & Leisure Centre is a welcoming destination for all ages and abilities.
