September is upon us and today is the last day of winter. Hopefully mother nature has been informed, it seem, like me, she can get a little confused these days. We do hope that everyone is keeping healthy it can be a bit difficult at this time of the year and the flu that is doing the rounds is a nasty one.
John and Janet have a great month of entertainment lines up with something that will suit everyone.

SPEAKER CHANGE AT THE SENIOR CITIZENS MEETING TOMORROW.
Unfortunately, Colin Hallet is unable to be with us tomorrow; we all wish Colin a speedy recovery and a quick journey back to good health.
Merve Joines, from the "Te Aroha Community Patrol" has kindly agreed to step in at the last minute to enlighten us on the whys and wherefores of the Community Patrol.

Doors open at 1.15pm
Meeting starts at 1.30pm
Raffles available $2.00 door charge.

Next week is our birthday lunch.
Don't forget to get your names down and reserve your spot. $15.00 a head and the meeting will start at the earlier time of 12.15pm

Due to illness, injury and other commitments we interup our planned programme which will resume next week. This week Mick has stepped in and will lead a grand ol' sing-a-long.

As usual our doors open at 1.15pm for a 1.30pm start.

Next week 18th August, health permitting, Colin Hallet speaks on his recent veterans visit to Korea.

25th August is our birthday lunch at the hall. All present and past members and members of our associate groups are welcome. $15.00 per head, please confirm your attendance with a committee member or via email as we need numbers for catering. This will be an earlier start time of 12.00.
