Reminder: Pink Shirt Day – Tomorrow (Friday 15 May) 💗

A quick reminder that we will be celebrating Pink Shirt Day tomorrow. Students are encouraged to dress in pink to show their support for kindness, inclusion, and standing up against bullying.

This is a pink themed m***i day, and no gold coin donation is required.

There will be prizes for best dressed, and we can’t wait to see the fun and creative outfits!

Students will also be taking part in our “Sprinkle Kindness” colouring/design competition, with one winner per team announced at assembly.

Throughout this week, students who have been spotted showing small acts of kindness have been entered into a prize draw, with winners announced at assembly tomorrow.

Thank you for your support in helping us promote a positive and inclusive school environment.

ANZAC is an important part of New Zealand's culture and identity. Team Ruru and Team Pukeko came together within our tuakana-teina classes to explore ANZAC, and create art pieces.
Rooms 1 and 6 created wreaths.
Rooms 2 and 8 created silhouette art.
Rooms 3 and 7 created abstract poppy art.
These amazing creations are all on display for the next two weeks at Te Aroha RSA.
Visit the RSA to view our students' work and enjoy a meal and all the offerings the RSA has.

RSA opening hours:

Tuesday and Saturday 2 - 9pm

Wednesday to Friday 11.30am - 9pm

Kia ora all

From Friday this week our sausage sizzles are back each Friday. Orders in by Thursday please!!

You can order in your classroom during the week and you will receive a yummy lunch on Friday. (We cater for vegan , gluten free, or non pork as well.)

Sausages are $3 each or 2 for $5 you can choose to have them with tomato sauce, mustard, and/or onions. Order 1 or order more up to your appetite.

All proceeds are going towards our Winter Olympics Sports Team going to Totara Springs in August this year.

Netball Season Starts Today!!!

Years 1-4

Just a reminder that Year 1-4 netball runs from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoons each week on Courts 3 and 4

The players will be taught a range of skills and will then put them into practise playing games with and against the other schools.

Years 5-8

Attached is the draw for today's games after the opening of Netball for 2026. There are 2 rounds 3.45pm and 4.40pm. Please check for your team and make sure you are at the courts in time to warm up before you play.
