The Trustees of Pohue - Waipiro A31 Trust and Pourau’s Committee of Management have teamed up to share the purchase 000’s of erosion-control poles. This joint initiative scales up our tree planting efforts across Potae lands with a targeted mix of; Crowsnest and Kawa (Poplar) as well as Moutere (Willow). Planting poplar on erosion prone hillsides and willow on wet gully floors and riparian areas helps stabilise our whenua and reduce erosion.
