We had a great day yesterday with a new mural by young people supported by Jade Trust and Moetara markings. Also Soil of Cultures was doing mini banana boats, neighbourhood support had some fun blocks and colouring and we were doing some planting.

My mum has about 7 feijoa trees. After weeks of collecting, stewing, drying, and eating them, there’s still plenty left.
This is what was on the ground under 1 tree.
There’s still plenty on the tree too.
I’m looking forward to the trees in Molley Green when they are 30 years old and dropping fruit like this!

If you’re wondering when these are ready, pumpkins are sweetest when the vine is dead and they are left in the cold for the winter. So please let them finish growing before harvesting them.
