Resident of #28 Grass St - Harry Seresin, a refugee from N**i Germany, arrived in New Zealand in 1939. He was the first person to introduce a really stylish coffee shop to Wellington. Seresin's coffee shop was situated on the balcony above Parsons Bookshop, on Lambton Quay. Harry had huge energy and passion for life and the arts and also went on to form the Downstage Theatre (Courtney Place) out of his "Walkabout' cafe in 1964.
