AIMS GAMES - was totally worth the effort! A phenomenal event that hosts some incredibly talented young people! Our 8 runners were definitely impressed by the hours their fellow runners put in week in week out!
Our Waerenga runners set PBs today and they finished the 3km sprint (no exaggeration - it was a sprint) leaving everything they had out on the course!

We start the week today in Tauranga at AIMS GAMES! The atmosphere is incredible with thousands of athletes from all over NZ! What an amazing opportunity for our Waerenga seniors today! The weather is slightly cooler, the course is mainly flat and sure to be fast with a just 2 sneaky hills.
Good luck! Following on from today Riley competes in golf over the next 3 days! The very best of luck to everyone! 👏👏
Tuesday: Our Kai & Korero evening. Begins at 4:45pm. All details were in the newsletter! See you there! 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓
Thursday: Get those tasty lunch orders in by 2:30pm please. 🥧
Friday: Year 7/8 Market afternoon. Tamariki bring gold coins to take part in all the activities!

Thames Valley cross country proved to be a tough outing in the wind today! 16 brave runners did themselves proud amongst the mud and hills! Thank you to parents for transporting and managing! Your support is very much appreciated. Results to follow! Next up....AIMS GAMES THIS WEEKEND!

Sunday: For the first time ever we have students competing in AIMS GAMES in Tauranga. This is going to be a massive experience - very exciting. 🪅🥳🎊

Applications are officially open today for ONE out of zone place for a 5 year old starting term 4 week 1, 12th October 2026.
Applications close: Thursday 24th September.

Another day of Making Ourselves Proud at the Hauraki Plains Cross Country. We had 22 amazing representatives who raced their hearts out! 17 will be heading to Thames Valley next week on Tuesday! The hills were massive, competition was on and these smiles say it all!
