Here is the draw for this Saturday 9th May 2026, we’re looking forward to a great day of netball.

Duty Teams: Panthers & Te Kura Kaupapa Māori
Duty Team Responsibilities

Set Up:
• Goal pads on Courts 1–4
• Place rubbish bins at each light post
• Set up portable goals
• Put out tables and bench seats between the adult courts

Pack Down:
• All equipment to be returned inside
• Rubbish to be collected from courts, carpark, and surrounding grass areas
• Toilets to be checked and cleaned

A few important reminders for the season:

• Any clubs or schools looking for fundraising opportunities are welcome to use WN BBQ for a fee - priority will be given to those connected to or registered with Wairoa Netball
• Umpire fees are now $40 per game
• Junior teams are responsible for umpiring their own games
• We encourage each team to have a scorer present at the score table
• All communication or pātai must go through your school or club rep, who can then contact WN via Facebook or email
• Rules and regulations will be available at the control table on game day.

REPRESENTATIVE NETBALL TRIALS

We are now calling for players who are currently Registered and playing in the Wairoa Netball 2026 competition to trial for our 2026 Representative Netball Teams.

Date: 1st Trial Wednesday 6th May
Time: 4.30pm
Location: Wairoa Netball Courts
Date: 2nd Trial Saturday 9th May
Time: 1.00pm
Location: Wairoa Netball Courts

Open to players in the following grades:
• Yr 7&8
• U14's (Must be attending secondary school and be 13years of age and under)

What to bring:
• Appropriate netball attire
• Drink bottle
• Positive attitude and commitment

This is your opportunity to represent your community and develop your game alongside dedicated players and coaches.
