Youth Week is coming in hot! 🔥
WYAT, our local organisations and partners have joined to put together a day for our Youth and its all about getting together and having a go.

We’ve got a solid lineup locked in:

🧠 Vision boards
…and heaps more happening on the day.
Come down, get stuck in, give it a go, and enjoy yourself. Bring your mates, whanau bring your tamariki, and come see what’s happening.

Every Wednesday we have been working with Christina Stockman and Val Irwin to learn how to paddle a waka, how to rig a kiato and how to steer! Here are some videos of us out on the water! Thanks Christina and Val!

Following on from the Corporate Waka Race, SPORTHB - Hine Flood organised a Pickleball Competition! Thanks Hine! This event was fast paced and full of action! It highlighted the competitive nature of our people!

We started the year off with the Corporate Waka Race. Adventure Wairoa championed this event. We had approximately 192 paddlers, 32 crews and 8 heats! Lots of whānau came to support the races! Whanaungatanga in action! Awesome Wairoa!
