What an epic year leading Reach!
We wrapped up our last two sessions at Waitara High School, Commitment and Hauora, and the feedback has been incredible.
It's amazing to hear how the program has helped students understand themselves and feel comfortable asking for help, and that they've learned so much about school values and their own personal growth.

They even want more Reach and Youth Workers! 🤩 YouthWorkers

As we lock in our strategy for the next 5 years, we don’t want to do it behind closed doors this Trust belongs to Waitara, so our future should be shaped by you.

WEEK 4 Reach, Aroha, Waitara High School

This week was all about Aroha, big word, looking at what it really means to care for and support one another.

​From some hilarious rounds of Egg, Chicken, Dino 🦖 to Paper planes learning about learning. We wrapped up with some awesome speed-sharing, creating a safe space for everyone to listen, connect, and keep it real.

He aroha whakatō, he aroha ka p**a mai.
Love planted, love received.

Youth Week is all about celebrating the young people of Aotearoa!
This year's theme, "Our Voices Matter, We Deserve To Be Heard," is a powerful reminder that the young people have so much to say and offer!!
Their experiences, perspectives, and voices deserve real space and acknowledgement so get loud!!

Remember you have a voice!!! And to the parents, whānau, and communities supporting them, thank you for listening it matters more than you know.
