Congratulations to all the students who completed the 6-week Youth Empowerment Boxing Programme! 🥊✨
This programme supported students to build confidence, strengthen mental wellbeing, and work towards their physical fitness goals.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of Laila Matin and the team at WestCoast Fitness Gym Waiuku for making this opportunity possible. A huge thank you also to Jessica Taylor (Social Worker) from Mai Lighthouse – Pukekohe for bringing this kaupapa to life and supporting our young people.
We are so proud of our students’ commitment, growth, and achievements! 💪🌱

A proud moment today as four of our waka ama rangatahi attended the Franklin Local Board meeting to share the kaupapa of Oranga maa te Wai and their waka ama journey alongside Matua Riki Minhinnick and whaanau.
An awesome opportunity for our students to contribute to important community conversations, build confidence in public speaking, think on their feet, and represent their kaupapa and our kura with pride.
