Selwyn Centre Warkworth Friendship, support and activities for over 65's Drop in for a cup of tea and a good chat with friends old and new. Cost is $3 per session (inc morning tea).

Selwyn Centre Warkworth is a weekly get-together for over 65s at Warkworth Selwyn Centre, Christ Church Lounge, Church Hill from 9.30am – 11.45am every Monday (excluding Public Holidays). Selwyn Centre starts back next Monday - Jan 19th, 9.30am. We will ease into the year with perhaps a quiz and some of our well loved games, but we also have some new fun activities and craft ideas planned for this year. Looking forward to seeing our lovely guests and wonderful volunteers on Monday.

Oh what a fun game this was - Cups! You start with 1 less cup than you have people and have the group do different movements with their hands, then call cups, at which point everyone tries to grab a cup. The one without a cup is out, you remove another cup and carry on till there's just a single winner.

We had a very competitive group and there were loads of laughs. Will definitely play this one again.

Managed to get a photo of some of the finished ones, but there were some other lovely ones too.

We have several spaces available at our Monday morning get-togethers for independnet over 65's. Just $3 per person - includes 1/2 hour mainly seated, gentle exercise programme, a social morning tea, then games, crafts, puzzles, quizzes etc. No obligation, so why not come along and try it out and see if it's for you. We'd love to have you join us.
