Our tamariki enjoyed a special high tea, complete with delicious treats, table settings, and plenty of opportunities to practise their manners, conversation skills, and kindness towards one another to celebrate King’s birthday.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and memorable moments as we came together to celebrate this special occasion.

Today we take a moment to remember the bravery, sacrifice, and courage of those who came before us. Lest we forget.

As our tamariki transition from daycare to school we take a moment to celebrate just how far they’ve come. From those first uncertain settling moments, to growing confidence, curiosity, and independence. Their journey has been incredible to witness and we are so proud of every step.

We are so proud of the strong relationships they have built for lifelong learning. This transition is not just a move to a new space, but a reflection of the growth, resilience, and learning that has already taken place.

We can’t wait to see them continue to thrive as they move on to the next exciting step in their learning journey.

Literacy in our environment is so much more than just reading and writing. It’s about communication, telling stories, making connection’s to make sense of the world. The tamariki choose all to stay close together on the floor to share their news. It creates a sense of connection as they listen to one another.
