The Brooklyn Toy Library is a toy lending facilities for the tamariki and whanau of Wellington Toys are great for developing physical, mental and social skills.

The Brooklyn Toy Library has a huge range of toys available for loan suitable for ages newborn through to 7 years. Borrowing from a Toy Library gives you the opportunity to try different toys without having to buy them. Toys can be borrowed for 2 weeks. The Brooklyn Toy Library does not charge a borrowing fee to paid members. Membership can be 6 monthly or annual. Fees are per family, regardless o

f the number of children. Please see our website for further information and the online membership form. The Brooklyn Toy Library is a registered charity. We would like to thank the following sponsors for helping us during the year:

😎Summer holidays are almost here! We encourage you to pop in soon if you would like to reserve toys for the holiday period.
🚂Holiday hires cost $10 per toy and support our fundraising efforts so we can keep adding fresh and fun options to the library.
🔜Our last two weekends are coming up: 12/13th Dec, & 19/20 Dec so get in quick!

($55/6 months OR $95/12 months)
-Involves 1 volunteering duty* per 6 months
-Contribute time to stock takes & fundraising

💙Non-Active
($110/6 months OR $190/12 months)
-No duties
-No volunteering

*Volunteering shifts take place during Saturday open hours, but if that doesn't work for your family, we can arrange another way to help 😊

Unfortunately the Toy Library will be closed this weekend (Aug 1 & 2) as our dear librarian is out sick. Please stop by for Friends of Vogelmorn's 10 year celebration Saturday though, as there will be lots of family friendly activities! 😊

Hey friends! Just a quick reminder that our winter hours are now in effect. We’ll be open:

Fridays: 4:30pm–5:30pm
Saturday: 9am–1pm
Closed on Sun-Thu
