πŸ“š Learning English? We've got a class for you!

KiwiClass offers free General English classes across Wellington and Lower Hutt. Wellington classes run five days a week, and Lower Hutt four days a week, with both morning-only and full-day options to suit different schedules. πŸ—“οΈ

We offer four levels, so whether you're a complete beginner or already able to hold a conversation, there's a class that's right for you:
πŸ”Ή Level 1A β€” For complete beginners, building vocabulary, listening, and early writing skills using specialist techniques.
πŸ”Ή Level 1B β€” Developing writing further and growing confidence using English in everyday situations.
πŸ”Ή Level 2A β€” For learners who can hold a simple conversation, focusing on handling real-life daily situations.
πŸ”Ή Level 2B β€” For more confident learners building reading, writing, and fluency β€” with pathways into our English for Work classes. πŸ’Ό

Every learner is individually assessed before being placed, ensuring you start at exactly the right level. Our teachers take the time to get to know each student personally, so learning is always tailored to your needs. 🌱

All classes are completely free for NZ residents and citizens. Enrolments are open all year round β€” come learn with us! 🌈

πŸ‘ Eid al-Adha β€” The Festival of Sacrifice

Eid al-Adha commemorates the incredible act of faith by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) ΨΉΩ„ΩŠΩ‡ Ψ§Ω„Ψ³Ω„Ψ§Ω…, who was commanded by Allah to sacrifice his beloved son. Just as he was about to obey, Allah replaced his son with a ram β€” a powerful symbol of devotion, trust, and submission to Allah's will.🀲

Today, Muslims worldwide honor this story by performing Qurbani (animal sacrifice), sharing the meat with family, neighbors, and those in need. ❀️
It is a time of gratitude, generosity, and togetherness β€” reminding us to give selflessly and strengthen our bonds with community. πŸ•Œ

🌟 KiwiClass wishes you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed Eid al-Adha celebration!
Eid al-Adha Mubarak! πŸŽ‰πŸŒ™βœ¨

Our English through Digital class visited Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui Central Library to explore its amazing digital resources. Students used Google Maps, connected to public Wi Fi, discovered books in many languages, learned how to use photocopiers and computers, saw a 3D printer for the first time, and explored creative spaces with music, sewing, and art. A fun and inspiring learning experience!

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve run two workshops for our students: 'Starting your job search' and 'Next steps on your job search'. Students got hands‑on practice applying for jobs, networking, and writing follow‑up emails!

"I am alone, I don't have a family here, but I feel support now in New Zealand because of KiwiClass" - KiwiClass Student, Huda

We are incredibly proud of Huda, and all that she has achieved. Ever since she began with us, she has been extremely hard working, always asking for further English practice and personal development she can continue at home. Huda is a great example of how commitment and determination can go a long way! Great work Huda :)
