Warrant to arrest: Sione Maile Tonga

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Sione Maile Tonga, 28, who has a warrant to arrest and is wanted by Police.

It is believed Tonga may be in the Waikato or Bay of Plenty area.

If you see Tonga, please do not approach him and instead call Police on 111 immediately with as much information as safely possible.

Information regarding his whereabouts can be provided to Police online at 105.police.govt.nz or by calling 105.

An unexplained death in Rototuna is being investigated by police, who warn they’ll have a “visible presence” for a few days.

The sudden death was being treated as unexplained, Detective Senior Sergeant Reece Durston said in a statement released on Wednesday afternoon.

Cordons are in place and a scene examination is being carried out, Durston said.
