정병하 대사는 8월 18일(화) 관저에 웰링턴한인회 임원진을 초청하여 동포사회의 생생한 목소리를 청취하고, 동포사회 발전을 위해 함께 고민하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
정 대사는 우리 동포들이 뉴질랜드 사회의 일원으로서 활발히 활동하며 양국 관계 발전의 가교 역할을 하고 있음을 높이 평가하고, 동포들의 권익 신장과 안전을 위해 노력할 것을 약속하였습니다.
A warm evening of dialogue with the Wellington Korean Association
On Tuesday 18 August, Ambassador Chung welcomed the executive board members of the Wellington Korean Association to the Official Residence for an evening of dialogue. It was a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the Korean community and discuss ways to support its continued development.
Ambassador Chung expressed his appreciation for the active contributions of the Korean community as an integral part of New Zealand society. He also highlighted their important role as a bridge between Korea and New Zealand and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the interests and well-being of the community and ensuring their safety.
