Wellington City Pacific Advisory Group PAG was set up in Dec 2003, they are a link between the Council and Wellington's Pacific communities. PP13 is shaping up to be another great day.

It is designed to have representatives from Wellington's seven main Pacific nation groups - Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Samoa, Tokelau, Tonga, and Tuvalu. Estab. 2003, the Pacific Advisory Group is a link between WCC and Wellington's Pacific communities. As well as regular community fora, the PAG together with WCC host the annual Positively Pasifika Festival. At Alert Level 4 you must legally wear a face covering if you are an employee or customer at a business or service involving customer contact.

This means, you legally must wear a face covering:

πŸ›’ Inside any Alert Level 4 businesses and services that are still open and involve customer contact, including supermarkets, pharmacies and petrol stations.
🚌 On public transport and at departure points, for example train stations and bus stops
✈️ on flights
πŸš• In taxi or ride-share vehicles β€” drivers and passengers
πŸ₯ When visiting healthcare facilities

Current exemptions for face coverings remain in place. If you are under the age of 12, have a physical or mental illness or disability, you do not need to wear a mask. Pacific communities are a vital part of Wellington. The Council has a number of initiatives designed to support and develop Pacific communities.

The Pacific Advisory Group, set up in December 2003, is a link between the Council and Wellington's Pacific communities. It is designed to have representatives from Wellington's seven main Pacific nation groups - Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, Samoa, Tokelau, Tonga and Tuvalu.
