🎶 What a fantastic Music Evening! 🎶

What a wonderful evening of music and talent at Rongotai College last night! Our boys were outstanding — singing with confidence, passion and plenty of energy.

It was also fantastic to see so many parents and whānau there supporting our students. Your encouragement makes such a difference!

A huge congratulations to all our performers and staff who helped make the evening such a success. Proud of our boys! ❤️💙

🏆 Junior Colts Hockey CHAMPIONS! 🏑

Driven by skill, grit, and a high-energy playing style, the Junior Colts stormed through the regular season unbeaten. They capped off an incredible campaign with an 8-0 Grand Final victory over rivals Scots College, powered by hat-tricks from captain Lucas Henwood (24 goals this season!) and Player of the Match Leif Schaefer.

Special thanks to head coach Tim Henderson for his outstanding leadership, alongside families, and supporters for the sideline energy.

Huge congratulations to Marcus Young (Y12) on scoring his first international goal for New Zealand at the Asia Oceania Floorball Qualifiers in Singapore!

As a defender, goals don't come around every day, which makes this one even sweeter. What a way to contribute to the Kiwis' convincing win over Hong Kong China last night.

We're incredibly proud of you, Marcus. The entire RC whānau is behind you every step of the way, cheering you on from home. Here's to many more memorable moments in the black jersey! 💙🖤 💛

He's done it again! RC Old Boy George Jackson finished in the Bronze medal spot again at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, finishing 3rd in an exciting finish to the n the men's 40km points race. Congratulations George!

Congratulations to Rongotai College Old Boy George Jackson (RC 2013 - 2016) and his team mates Marshall Erwood, Daniel Morton and Tom Sexton for winning the Bronze Medal in the cycling Teams Pursuit at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Our Year 12 students had a fantastic opportunity to visit New Zealand Parliament this week as they continued planning for the Model United Nations Conference they will be hosting next year.

A highlight of the visit was meeting the Speaker of the House, the Rt Hon Gerry Brownlee, who shared insights into Parliament, leadership and New Zealand's democratic process.

The experience gave our students a valuable behind-the-scenes look at how our country is governed and provided plenty of inspiration as they prepare to welcome schools from across the region to next year's Model United Nations Conference.

A big thank you to Parliament for hosting our students and supporting the next generation of leaders!
