organisation (NGO) walking alongside 18+ refugee background communities

Tati has sat both her restricted and full licence with ChangeMakers. She is so happy to never have to sit another test! She is grateful to ChangeMakers and Levin Driving School for giving her the skills and confidence to pass first time one each test. She is now able to travel outside of Levin for all her children's sports events and visit other friends in Palmerston North or Wellington. Independence is so important for yourself esteem. 🤩

Kia Ora CRF family.
The team at CRF Office would like to wish all a happy, safe and restful Christmas/new year break.
The office will be closed from 12 pm today, Wednesday, 24 December 2025. And will be back to normal working hours from Tuesday, 6 January 2026.

Congratulations to Germatsion for passing his restricted license today. This was a wonderful end of year present for us all. Thanks also to his volunteer Will for practicing with him and for supporting him on his test.

Learning to drive is life changing for our drivers. Germatsion now hopes he can use his license for work.

If you would like to make a contribution to the lives of former refugees by giving a few hours a week to support them with driving, we are running a training for volunteers in the new year. Please contact Susan on 027 627 3971 or email [email protected] to find out more.

Congratulations to Karima for passing her Restricted License. Luckily, she chose the best weather day this week to take the test and passed with flying colours. Thanks so much to her volunteer, Joe, for the hours of practice and to Julian for attending the test with her. Karima, we hope you enjoy your newfound independence and are able to escape walking in the wind now!
