(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Do you love our birds?
Well, you have to check out this book!!

🦉🐧🐦

Sylvia's Selection: 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝘆𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀.

"𝘈 𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬. 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨."

The introduction outlines the winners, and some of the voting shenanigans, of the past two decades.

It is beautifully illustrated with hand drawn pictures of over 80 native New Zealand birds.

An ideal gift for anyone 🎁 young or not-so young with any interest in New Zealand's native birds (and one bat 🦇).

Kia ora long weekenders! We hope you have a good book to read this weekend 📚

This week we received an awesome package from the 𝗭𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 Huron County Library in Canada with lots of letters from the kids over there. The librarians had a really nice time looking through them and we've made a display to share them all with you!

Thank you, 𝗭𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀, for telling us all about your home and all your cool adventures you get up to at 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 Park and Lake Huron!

To Sylvie: Yes! We have pies in New Zealand and they are delicious! 🥧😍
