We are pleased to announce that the current PAWNZ Management Committee has completed its 2024–26 term, and it is time for a new and energetic committee to take PAWNZ forward.
In accordance with the PAWNZ Constitution, elections will be conducted at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 on Sunday, 28 June 2026, for the following positions:
*Executives*
1. President
2. Vice President
3. General Secretary
4. Finance Secretary
The new Executive Committee will then appoint six (6) committee members to constitute a full committee.
*Advisors*
There are two Advisor positions. Advisors are experienced members who were previously part of the committee or have sufficient knowledge and experience to assist in running the Society.
*Term*
The term of office for all committee members and Advisors is 2 years, expiring at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting in the year corresponding with the last year of each committee member's term of office.
*Eligibility*
As per the Constitution, a member is only entitled to exercise the rights of membership (including attending and voting at General Meetings and contesting an election) if they hold a current membership and all subscriptions and any other fees have been paid to the Society by the due date.
Membership of PAWNZ remains open. However, in order to cast a vote in the election, the cut-off date for new memberships or membership renewals is 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 24 June 2026. Anyone who joins PAWNZ or renews their membership after the cut-off date will not be able to cast a vote in this election, as the membership list needs to be finalised.
We encourage all community well-wishers to form a team and submit nominations for these positions. All positions are important to the success of PAWNZ and its ongoing efforts towards the betterment of the community.
Please complete and submit the attached nomination form by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.
