We Open For Our Final Closing Sale

Our Toy Library is hosting a special sale this Sunday, 4 August. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase toys at prices ranging from $2 to $50, with all profits going directly to charity.

Date: Sunday, 4 August
Time: 10am to 2pm
Location: Wadestown Community Centre | 46 Pitt Street, Wadestown, Wellington 6012
Cash payments preferred

Every toy purchased will help support a great cause, as all proceeds from the sale will be donated to Charity. We have a diverse selection of toys available, so it’s a great chance to find something special while contributing to a meaningful cause.

We appreciate your support over the years and hope to see you at the sale!

Today is our final day 💕🥲
We are open for members to say goodbye to our lovely librarian Joey, and so members can return all toys and any missing parts they have found 🧩🚂

Thank you all for being a part of this community organisation. We have loved being a part of Wadestown and are sad to see it go after 39 years.

All toys will be offered first to other toy libraries and like- minded charities/organisations. Then we will hold a sale for all remaining toys. Keep an eye out on our local page for more details.

For those members who will have active memberships past this date, if you would like a refund for any remaining part of your membership fees please email us at [email protected]

If you would like to join another toy library, we would highly recommend Ngaio Toy Library, Northland Toy Library and Karori Toy Library.

We are open this Saturday 10am - 12pm. Our final day for members is Saturday 6th July.

We are happy to help you to connect to another local toy library so you and your little ones can keep sustainable play.

Thank you for being a part of this community organisation. We are grateful being a part of Wadestown community and are sad to see it go after 39 years. We hope after the sale of Wadestown community centre that the residents are part of the planing on how it is reinvested in our community to help and support the future.

It is with great sadness that we are officially announcing the closure of the Wadestown Toy Library. Great effort was made by the committee to remain open, but we could not find a solution that was financially sustainable.

Our final day for members is Saturday 6th July. Please return all toys and any missing parts.

For those members who will have active memberships past this date, if you would like a refund for any remaining part of your membership fees please email us at [email protected]

If you would like to join another toy library, we would highly recommend Ngaio Toy Library, Northland Toy Library and Karori Toy Library.
