Celebrating Pasifika Art and Culture🤎

We were thrilled to witness the stunning Pasifika Art Exhibition at Te Aro Campus. A successful collaboration between Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.

This event beautifully showcased the creative talents of Pasifika students, highlighting their unique artistic expressions and cultural heritage.

Each piece told a story of tradition, identity, and innovation🌺

The exhibition will be open until 29 July at Victoria University of Wellington - Te Aro Campus and is free entry!

It was inspiring to see many talented and ambitious Pasifika students exploring opportunities and connecting with industry leaders. This event showcased the vibrant Pasifika culture and the immense potential within our community.

A big thank you to all the speakers and employers who made this event possible. Your support and guidance is invaluable as we continue to empower and uplift Pasifika students towards achieving their career goals.

What an incredible and successful Launch of our Pasifika Week and Cultural Night at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington!🌺

We were thrilled to have celebrated the rich and diverse cultures of the Pacific last night at Kelburn Campus. Such beautiful and amazing performances from our students, representing their own cultures.

A big thank you to all families and friends who joined us and made this event memorable.

Together we continue to honour our heritage and strengthen our connections as Tagata Pasifika🫶🏽

Pasifika Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate Pasifika success, Pasifika cultures and identity at Te Herenga Waka—Wellington Uni.

This is a collaboration and partnership between Pasifika Student Success of the Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Pasifika) and our Pasifika Students' Council 🌺

Open invitation to all Pasifika students at VUW (undergraduate and postgraduate). Please come along to our study sessions this week at AM102/104

💥 Tuesday 4 June, 9am - 5pm
💥 Wednesday 5 June, 9am - 5pm
💥 Thursday 6 June, 9am - 5pm

Please bring your laptop, readings, assessments, test preparations, etc. You can come for the full day or for 1 hour or 2. No need to RSVP! Light breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.

Kicking off our first week back the right way, with a Tuesday Lunch at Te Aro and Pipitea Campus.

It was great seeing some students yesterday and catching up on how they have been over the two-week break. Enjoyed some delicious KFC and also great company.
