We are committed to supporting implementation of the Maihi Karauna – the Government’s Strategy for Māori language revitalisation coordinated by Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori. We aim to keep our language inclusive and positive for everyone. The Wayan Brothers are back, 26 years after their first Scary Movie, with another instalment of horror-comedy slapstick: SCARY MOVIE 6 is in cinemas now. This time, they poke fun at late 2010s / early 2020s films like Sinners, M3GAN, Get Out, The Substance and – of course – the Scream sequels.

This film has been classified by our Office as R16, which means it’s legally restricted to audiences over the age of 16.

It doesn’t mean it’s necessarily right for you, just because you’re that age, though! We’ve issued content warnings for violence, offensive language, drug use, s*x scenes, nudity and s*xual material.
