🚨 Product recall – 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VIII Headsets sold at 'NZ Safety Blackwoods' and 'SupplyMe' from 1 January 2026 to 15 May 2026.

3M is recalling these headsets as they may emit feedback noise (measured up to 106 dBA) through the headset speakers.

Contact your local 3M distributor to coordinate credit for your affected heads.

🚨 Product recall – Mistral vacuum cleaners (sold at Bunnings).

Mistral Barrel Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaners have been recalled due to a manufacturing defect that can cause the motor to overheat, posing a risk of fire, burns, and property damage.

Affected models:

BVC 160 (1800W)
BVC 165 (2400W)

Sold at Bunnings: August 2025 – May 2026.

⚠️ What you should do:

Stop using the vacuum immediately.
Disconnect it from power.
Return it to any Bunnings store for a full refund.

B&C Fashion is recalling the Handheld Jingles Toy Tambourine because it contains small parts that may separate from the toys. and which pose a choking hazard.

Stop using these toys and keep out of reach of children.

Briscoes – Sold from August 2013 to December 2022
Seymour – Sold from April 2021 to December 2022
Mitre 10 and Moore Wilson – Sold from approximately April 2021 to December 2022.

Thermos is recalling the Thermos Stainless King Food Jars because in certain circumstances, pressure may build up inside the container.

Check if the underside of the stopper has a pressure relief feature (see picture provided).
