WHANGARIPO EGGS Ltd.
We are looking for a Delivery Van Driver.
This is a FULL Time position, 5 days per week. Hours are approx. 6 to 8.5 Hours p/day, between 5.30am – early/mid-afternoon. The days do vary, depending on the quantity of orders and delivery areas. 40 hours per week in total. Delivery days are usually Tuesday to Saturday.
We are a large Free Range Egg Farm located between Matakana & Wellsford.
We deliver our super fresh eggs to Countdown and selected New World Supermarkets, along with Cafes and other retail outlets in the Auckland metropolitan area.
Attention to detail and efficient route planning is critical to ensure deliveries are made
in a timely fashion to meet supermarket Inwards Goods hours of operation, which tend to vary from store to store,
As a frontline member of our company, you must be very well presented.
A pleasant and patient disposition is a must!
Preferably live in the Warkworth/Wellsford area.
Prerequisites:
• Hold a clean, FULL driver's licence and be confident driving a large vehicle in the City.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Be punctual & reliable. Early morning starts are essential to beat the morning traffic into the city.
• The ability to work efficiently and pay attention to detail.
• Great communication skills.
• A friendly disposition with excellent customer service and communication skills is paramount, to ensure the company is represented in a professional manner.
• A high standard of fitness, as this is a physically demanding role
• Flexibility - not all days are the same!
• Have a strong knowledge of the Auckland Metro area.
• Be Health and Safety conscious and compliant
• Be willing to undergo regular Drug Testing
