Kia ora whanau,

Firstly, a big congratulations to Amara Hape and Chaza-Rae Ranui for competing in the EBOP athletics on Thursday.
Chaz did well with her shot put and Amara placed 2nd in shot put, 3rd in discus and 4th in long jump.
Very proud of both of you!!

Secondly, thank you to the whanau who completed and returned the surveys.
The Broughton whanau were the lucky recipients of the voucher for returning their form early. Your voucher will be given yo you this coming week :)

Thirdly, a reminder that our prize giving is on Thursday the 14th of December.
This is a special prize giving as it will also be the last prize giving for our principal and teaching staff that are leaving at the end of this year.
It would be great to see our whanau celebrate the successes that our tamariki have had 😍

On Tuesday, we took a group of tamariki to the Rangitaiki athletics.
We are proud of all their efforts and participation.
3 of our athletes have made it into the EBOP athletics next Thursday.
Congratulations to Chaz who came 3rd in shot put, Peri who came 3rd in discus and Amara who placed 1st in Shot put and High Jump, 2nd in Vortex and Discus and 3rd in long jump.

Our middle/senior classes are going to the Rangitaiki athletics in Whakatane, apopo.

It is being held @ the athletic park, next to the aquatic center and starts at 9:45. 😊

Kia ora whanau, due to our teaching staff being unwell and having no relievers the school will be closed till Wednesday. We know this may be inconvenient for some whanau but unfortunately there is no other option. We wish our staff a quick recovery.
School will resume as normal on Wednesday.

Kia ora whanau,

This Wednesday the 13th of September we have our year 5 and 6 children (middle class) participating in a sports tournament in Whakatane. We need to be there by 9:20 so we will need to leave just before 9. Please make sure the children have a drink, lunch, a hat and shorts as it is supposed to be a nice day. 😊
