📣 A Chance for Our Community to Have a Voice
We are hosting this event to create an opportunity for our community to connect directly with our local political representatives, ask questions, and hear their responses.
This event is not about promoting any political party, candidate, or political position. Hakeke Street Community Centre is simply providing a space where people from our community can come together, listen, ask questions, and have their voices heard.

If there is an issue that matters to you, your whānau, or our wider Whanganui community, please feel free to PM us your question. We will be selecting 8 community questions to put directly to the politicians on the day. Please have these to us by Tuesday 5pm
We know that people in our community hold a wide range of views, and we respect that. Our role is not to tell anyone what to think or who to support — it is simply to help create an accessible opportunity for people to ask the questions that matter to them and hear directly from those seeking to represent our community.
Hakeke Street Community Centre does not hold or endorse a political position. We are proud to be a community space, and this event is about exactly that — community, conversation, and making sure local voices have an opportunity to be heard.
