Ngahura Marae site and Papakainga. A home stood here until the 1980s owned by Turama Kotiora and Alice Moule/Hickford/Edwards. The current dwellings are home to Peter Edwards, a grandson of theirs.

31-Mile Peg - road workers camp. This house, occupied by Terry Rauhina and family through the 60s and 70s is the last one standing. The road is now maintained by contractors who live out of the district.
