A few of our kaimahi are away caring for whanau who are unwell, so we are very short staffed today, we are unable to host the luncheon the way we would have liked for you all.

Thank you all for understanding.
We will see you all next month!

A quote from this clip: "We study our own culture and then go and live someone else’s". What are some simple ways we can reconnect with our Atua Māori; with our Taiao? What are some rituals can we do to have more of those connections in our lives?

We came across this picture and although not directly related to this kaupapa - it was so nice to see so many beautiful faces (most who are no longer with us) that we wanted to share it today. That aside, our kauta still requires a few finishing touches, but it is now safe enough for us to FINALLY start holding our monthly Kaumatua lunches again. We look forward to seeing you apopo (Wednesday 29th April 2026) if you are free from 11:00am onwards - with lunch hopefully being ready at 12:00pm. We are looking forward to catching up with everyone.

We had some nu****ts who thought they might take OUR VERY LAST HOSE from our "community maara at Rangahaua Marae". (We have had five go missing over a period of time, we figured this one only remained because it was on a reel). Anyway, it must have been too heavy to carry as it meant he had to hold it in one hand and push his bicycle with the other. So he dropped it in our driveway. Yes we do have him on camera. And yes we do know who he is. Not much point reporting to police. There are whanau who will visit and remind him that it is not kind to take things that aren't yours. Clown!
