🚍 Temporary Bus Stop Closures - Kiripaka Road - Friday 4th September

We have been advised by the Fulton Hogan Water team that emergency repairs are required to fix a water leak outside 168 Kiripaka Road.

Work may begin today and continue tomorrow, with crews expected to be onsite between 9:00am and 2:00pm tomorrow.

During the repair works, the bus stops outside 157 Kiripaka Road and 170 Kiripaka Road will be temporarily closed.

Passengers will be directed to the nearest available bus stops, approximately 200 metres in either direction, with someone onsite available to assist.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding while these essential repairs are carried out. The Fulton Hogan Water team is very sorry for the disruption and appreciates your cooperation. 🚧💧🚍

📢 Maunu Bus Route 6: Possible Minor Delays Today

Passengers travelling on Maunu Bus Route 6 are advised that temporary stop/go traffic management will be operating on State Highway 14 near Barge Park today.

All bus stops will remain open, and Route 6 buses will be given priority through the area. However, passengers may experience minor delays.

Due to driver shortages, the following temporary service changes will be in place this week:

🚌 SL1 & SL2 (Onerahi Routes)

Combined on Tuesday morning only
Departure from Riverside Drive (Mackesy Road) at 7:40am

🚌 SL4 & SL5 (Raumanga Routes to Whangarei Boys/Girls High School & Tikipunga High School)

Combined for the remainder of the week (AM & PM services)

Morning service departs Kaka Street at 7:45am
Students should be at their usual stop a few minutes early, as pickup times may vary from normal.

Afternoon service departs Tikipunga High School at 3:15pm, then continues through the route.

⚠️ Please ensure students are aware of these temporary changes and make any necessary arrangements.

📢 Temporary Bus Stop Relocations – Mill Road, Kensington

Due to Northpower Fibre works, bus stops outside 52 Mill Road and 33 Mill Road will be temporarily relocated.

📅 Saturday, 1 August 2026
⏰ 9:00am – 3:00pm

🚏 Temporary stop locations:
• 52 Mill Road → outside 50 Mill Road
• 33 Mill Road → outside 31 Mill Road

Both stops will be moved approximately 55 metres south of their usual locations. Temporary signage will be in place.
