🌺 Vintage Tongan Ngatu (Tapa Cloth) - Up for Auction! 🌺

We have a beautiful large Tongan Ngatu, hand‑crafted from the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree and decorated with traditional, hand‑painted motifs.

- Approx. 4.9m x 2.5m - an impressive statement size
- Features classic manulua geometric patterns and Heilala floral motifs
- Includes the hand‑painted inscription: “KO E SISI HEILALA O SIALE ATAUGO”
- Good vintage condition with natural ageing that adds character

A meaningful taonga for collectors, Pacific art lovers, or anyone wanting to honour Tongan culture in their home.

💛 Farewelling a Much Loved Volunteer – Ray Eyre 💛

Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating and farewelling one of our long-serving volunteers, Ray Eyre. Ray has volunteered over 1,675 hours of his time, over 7+ years, at our ReStore, contributing his skill and kindness to our community.

Ray has carried out all of the electrical testing for our electronic items, ensuring everything that reached our shelves was safe, reliable, and ready to be re-homed. His dedication has quietly supported countless shoppers over the years — and his warm, friendly presence has brightened many days within the team.

Thank you Ray, for everything you’ve given. 💛
