Our brigade is pleased to announce the appointment of Shane Young as our new Deputy Chief Fire Officer.
Shane is an extremely dedicated member of our brigade, demonstrating exceptional commitment, professionalism, and 22 years of service to both our brigade and the community. His experience, leadership, and unwavering dedication make him well deserving of this appointment. We congratulate Shane and wish him every success as he takes on his new leadership role.
As Shane steps into this position, we also acknowledge and sincerely thank Tony Anderson, who has served as our Deputy Chief for the past five years. Throughout his 26 years of service with our brigade, Tony has made a significant contribution through his leadership, mentorship, and commitment to developing our people while supporting the safety and wellbeing of our community.
On behalf of all our members, we extend our thanks to Tony for his outstanding service and dedication, and congratulate Shane on this well-earned appointment.
