This small wooden building was built by the residents of Woodbury to the memory of Miss Eleanor Howard Tripp (1867 – 1936) of Orari Gorge Station who was highly respected in the district.

Thank you to the following for your recent work on our great wee building & site:
- Julian Holmes Builder for the work done to preserve the building for the future.
- Woodbury Electrical for getting all things electrical up to spec & ensuring we are efficient with our power used.
- Gwyn for the new shelves in the History Room.
- Rae Jackson for keeping the garden maintained.
- Tom Parkinson for keeping the library open daily & ensuring our wee library is looking top notch for Anzac day

We are looking forward to seeing you at the ANZAC Service on Saturday in front of the Woodbury Library. Before & after the service please come & have a look in the History Room &/or find a book to read for the long weekend. You can also grab a coffee before 10am or after 12 midday from the Woodbury Store Cafe.

Hi all. The History Room at the library will be open from 9am to 12 midday on Saturday 25 April / ANZAC day. Please pop in to the library & the history room before or after the Anzac service - bring a takeaway coffee from the Woodbury Store Cafe with you, if you wish!

Urgently needed, keen gardener volunteer to help keep small area around library and cenotaph at village crossroads clean and tidy. Probably just once a month for half an hour would be a great help, a bit of weeding and spraying and tidying up after yourself. Please phone 027 422 1806 if you or anyone you think might be interested can help out! Much appreciated.
