Kia ora all,

Tomorrow night is the school disco, thanks to Friends of Woodlands!

Start 6:30pm - End 7:30pm I hour of student and sibling fun in the school hall. Please bring Gold coin for entry and also bring coins or small notes as a sweet stall and glow wear will be open and run by Year 5's fundraising for 2027 Stewart Island Camp. Parents are to supervise their own children. Please park on the road or side driveway parking area. The back will be closed to all vehicles except for FOW organisers & the cow.

FOW also have a sausage sizzle and hot drinks for sale outside the hall. The new library will be open for parents to mingle if not wishing to observe the cow poo bingo.

Cow Poo Bingo will start at 6:45pm. 81 tickets have been sold - 19 tickets are still for sale, Ticket Sales (click here) are open until 3pm tomorrow or until sold. 1 major prize of $400 & 9 great spot prizes to be won. The first square with the main poo will be the winner - judges decision final. The grid is 10 metre square, but my sprayed lines are amusing.

Friday - is M***i Day (Duck or Camo theme). Duck calling and Stag Roar Competition at 10:30am for those that wish to enter. Great Prizes donated by Hunting and Fishing. Thank you to Geoffrey Napper & Hunting and Fishing Team for judging. Please remember that we are doing cross country and sports every day now so running shoes are required at school for all classes.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!

Hi all

As we start looking to the upcoming pool season, we’re looking for a few more committee members to join the committee.

The pool is a much-loved part of our community, and it takes a team behind the scenes to keep it running smoothly. Without enough support, it becomes increasingly difficult to open and operate each season.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved even in a small way, we’d love to have you on board. Many hands really do make light work, and every bit of help makes a difference.

We’re holding a meeting on Tuesday, April 21st at 7pm in the Woodlands School staffroom and we warmly invite anyone interested to come along, ask questions, and see how they can be part of keeping the pool running for everyone to enjoy.

If you have any questions please message the page. We hope to see you there!
