In his latest article, our International Director André Leu explains how the movement began, why the term “regenerative” was chosen to bring together diverse voices, and how the shift to truly nature-based systems goes beyond organic certification.

🌿Grasslands are an overlooked player in climate change mitigation.

90% of their carbon is stored underground, where their diversity helps increase the amount of organic carbon stored in roots and soils.

Because of this, and because many grasslands plants have deep and resilient root systems, their carbon stores may be more stable than those in forests, better able to withstand environmental stressors like drought and fires.

Wow.

Wow.

The footage spread rapidly online, and scientific experts say it is neither AI-generated nor digitally altered. After being analyzed for signs of manipulation, the video was officially verified as authentic. This has sparked speculation about whether it could represent this generation’s real-world evidence of the legendary Kraken.

Some reports have linked the sighting to recent anomalies observed on the Moon and the upcoming 2025 eclipses, suggesting unusual changes in ocean behavior. Marine researchers claim the creature is extraordinarily large, measuring more than 15 meters, or about 50 feet, across, with tentacles stretching the length of a city bus. It has already been given a striking nickname: the “Eclipse Octopus.”

The possibility of what else may be concealed in the deep ocean is deeply unsettling. Humans have mapped only about 5 percent of Earth’s oceans, and if this discovery is genuine, the remaining 95 percent could be hiding wonders—and dangers—far beyond our imagination.

“Antimicrobials – including antibiotics, antivirals, antifungals and antiparasitics – are medications used to treat or prevent infections in humans, plants and animals. These antimicrobials target pathogens by inhibiting their growth or by directly killing them. On the other hand, pathogens could stop responding to their respective antimicrobials, rendering these antimicrobials ineffective to treat infections. Collectively, this phenomenon is known as antimicrobial resistance (AMR). "

Good news!

Good news!

For most Ohioans, a fisher cat has been something you read about in history books, not something you expect to see in the wild.

That changed near Cleveland, where wildlife officials confirmed the first fisher cat sighting in the region in nearly 200 years. The animal was captured on a remote camera and later verified by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources working with Cleveland Metroparks.

Fishers were wiped out in Ohio by the mid-1800s as forests were cleared and trapping intensified. They’re medium-sized predators in the weasel family, built for dense woods, tree climbing, and hunting small animals.

What makes this sighting important isn’t just rarity. It’s timing. Over the past few years, dozens of verified fisher sightings have appeared across northeast Ohio, many linked to population growth in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

As forests regenerate and wildlife corridors reconnect, animals don’t need reintroduction. They move back on their own.

The fisher’s return is a reminder that ecological recovery can take generations, but when it happens, it often arrives quietly, one camera frame at a time.

Some good news.

Some good news.

“This ruling makes it clear that agencies can’t just rubberstamp massive logging projects and promise to sort out the details later,” said Kristine Akland, Northern Rockies director and senior attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity. “The court saw right through the Forest Service’s vague plans and determined that moving targets aren’t good enough, especially when threatened animals and treasured public lands are at stake. This is a great ruling for grizzlies, Canadian lynxes and the entire Yellowstone ecosystem.”
