World Hepatitis Day is an international health event observed every July 28 to raise awareness about viral hepatitis, a silent but deadly disease that affects millions globally.

What is Hepatitis? Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver, often caused by viral infection. It can lead to scarring, liver cancer, and even death if left untreated.

This Year’s Theme: “Hepatitis: Let’s break it down.” The campaign calls on us to remove barriers to testing, vaccination, and treatment, ensuring that lifesaving services reach everyone.
