SUBJECT: Selected Lists for Grades 9 and 11 for 2026

The administration would like to let the student body know that the Grade 9 and Grade 11 selection lists are now posted on the Notice Board as of today, 22.12.25. Students who have been selected can see the caretaker to collect their acceptance letters.

You can visit the School Administration Notice Board anytime during the holiday period to check for your name. Caretakers will be available on weekdays only (excluding weekends and public holidays) to assist you.

This is to inform all Grade 12s that the Grade 12 NOAS Online Platform Grace Period has already been closed on the 14/12/25 (Sunday) at 11:59pm.

Please be informed that if you have been having issues logging in your NOAS accounts after the date stated above, that means the system has automatically closed you out from accessing your accounts.

Therefore, whatever changes that you have done during the Grace Period has been confirmed by the system and it is FINAL.

Please inform everyone about the information.

To all the Students, please be advised that Classes will be suspended for tomorrow (Monday) 02.06.2025. This is because, all Secondary School Principals will be having an important meeting with the Provincial Education Advisor.

Therefore, all students are to remain at home for tomorrow. Classes will resume on Tuesday (03.06.2025).

ATTENTION: PARENTS AND STUDENTS.

The School Administration wishes to Notify all good Parents and Students of Malaguna Technical Secondary School that, as of Today, Wednesday 27th of November 2024, the school Academic year is OFFICIALLY CLOSED for this year 2024.

We apologized for the short notice but it is beyond our control, the situations we are facing in our Town and the surrounding communities.

However, Students please take note on the following IMPORTANT TOKSAVE;

1. The Administration would like to inform the Grades 9 & 11 that, Assessments will continue in Term 1 of year 2025. THOSE STUDENTS THAT HAVE RECIEVED ANY ASSESSMENTS PIECES THAT YET TO BE GIVEN IN, MUST LOOK AFTER THOSE ASSESSMENT PIECES AT HOME AND HAND THEM IN BY TERM 1 OF SCHOOL YEAR 2025.

2. Grade 10s and 12s, keep in touch to our school page for updates on your Certificates. Once they come in, the Administration will notify you all.

With that, from the School Administration, Teaching Staff and the Ancillary Staff of Malaguna Technical Secondary School, We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ATTENTION grade 9 and grade 11 students.

Normal Classes RESUME tomorrow Friday (22.11.24). All BOARDING STUDENTS are advised to return to school as well to stay at the boarding houses for the weekend prior to Week 10.

It is important for classes to resume tomorrow (22.11.24) due to completion of assessments for each subject. In addition, some final assessment pieces will be given tomorrow so ALL STUDENTS must come to school.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Firstly we would like to APOLOGIZE for our lateness to this notice. Power blackout has caused this. However, we hope you all have received information from other reliable sources about the fighting in Rabaul Town today.

Yes, classes were disrupted meaning no school today (14/06/24). STUDENTS please take care over the weekend and throughout the holiday.

The situation is still unpredictable at this time as it's beyond our control. However, we will give updates when Term 3 resume.

Students will have 2 weeks of holiday starting 17/06/24 to the 01/07/24. Term 3 will begin on the 1st of July, 2024.

Week 1 Monday of Term 3, Students will receive their Academic Strips prior to Parents Conferencing which we will update on this page.

Our hardworking teachers are working on mark entry, making sure they are ready before Term 3 Week 1.
