ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Sa Memorandum Circular No. 128 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, ipinag-utos ng Malacanang ang pagsasagawa ng Work-from-Home (WFH) sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno at alternative learning modes sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong eskwelahan bukas, Agosto 18, bilang paghahanda sa inaasahang patuloy na pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan dulot ng habagat.

Alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), ipatutupad ang WFH at suspension ng face-to-face classes sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

Hindi sakop ng WFH ang mga ahensya ng pamahalaang may kinalaman sa pag-deliver ng basic at health services, preparasyon at pagtugon sa sakuna at kalamidad.

Ipinauubaya naman ng Malacanang sa mga Local Chief Executives ang kapangyarihang mag-pasiya kung kinakailangang suspendihin ang pasok sa mga lugar na kanilang nasasakupan na hindi napabilang sa memorandum circular.

Nasa diskresyon naman ng pamunuan ng pribadong sektor ang pagdeklara ng suspensyon sa trabaho.

𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗹𝗹 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

Nasa kabuuang 40 pamilya o 151 indibidwal mula sa Brgy. San Jose at Brgy. Bocboc West ang kasalukuyang nanunuluyan sa Evacuation Center bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagtugon sa epekto ng pag-ulan.

Patuloy ang pagbabantay, pag momonitor, at pagbibigay ng kinakailangang suporta upang matiyak ang kaligtasn at kapakanan ng bawat evacuee.

Sa panahon ng kalamidad, kaligtasan ng bawat pamilya ang pangunahing prayoridad. Patuloy tayong mag-ingat, manatiling alerto, at makinig sa mga abiso ng kinauukulan.

Patuloy ang pagmomonitor sa lebel ng tubig-baha sa iba’t ibang barangay sa Bayan ng Aguilar sa pangunguna ng Lokal na Pamahalaan, sa pamumuno ni Mayor Kristal S. Ballesteros-Soriano, bilang bahagi ng paghahanda at pagtugon sa patuloy na pag-ulan. Kasama sa isinagawang monitoring ang mga kawani ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Mr. Nicasio S. Sison, Philippine National Police (PNP Aguilar) PMaj. Mark Ryan C Taminaya at Municipal Engineer Engr. Ralph Ian Madriguera, upang masuri ang mga kalagayan ng mga kalsada, tulay, drainage system, at iba pang imprastraktura, gayundin ang agarang pagtukoy sa mga bahaging maaaring napinsala o nasira dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan at pagtaas ng tubig.

Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat ng residente na manatiling alerto, makinig sa mga abiso ng lokal na pamahalaan, at iwasang tumawid o lumapit sa mga lugar na mataas ang tubig. Kaligtasan ng bawat Aguilareño ang ating pangunahing prayoridad. Patuloy tayong mag-ingat at maging handa sa anumang maaaring idulot ng masamang panahon.
