The presentation of the IPCR and DPCR highlighted the hard work dedication and commitment of the participating offices in achieving organizational goals and delivering quality public service. The activity served as an opportunity to present accomplishments, performance indicators and the collective efforts that contributed to the successful completion of tasks and responsibilities throughout the evaluation period.

Eid Mubarak!

Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic calendar.

It honors Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) unwavering faith and devotion to God through his willingness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael (Ismail). However, God intervened and provided a ram to be sacrificed instead. The holiday also marks the culmination of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Friday, May 22, 2026 I This year’s SarBay celebration, themed “SarBay Reimagined: SarBay Heroes, Arise!”, was transformed into a meaningful one-day environmental movement held at Ladol Beach.

Moving beyond the usual grand festivities and concerts, the celebration focused on environmental awareness, coastal clean-up activities, community participation, and the collective responsibility of protecting Sarangani’s rich natural resources.

The reimagined SarBay became more than just a festival—it became a symbol of unity, resilience, and action, inspiring every participant to become a hero for the environment and future generations.

Together, we rise for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Sarangani.

𝑩𝒐𝒎𝒃 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈

The Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Sarangani, under the leadership of Governor Ruel D. Pacquiao, MMPA and through the initiative of the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), headed by Atty. Divine Grace Sumaira T. Fernandez, RMT, in partnership with the Provincial Governor’s Office – Jail Management Division, successfully conducted a two-day Bomb Threat Management and Emergency Response Training on May 19–20, 2026, at Kasfala Hall, Capitol Compound, Alabel, Sarangani Province.

The training featured PGII PCapt. Fidencio P. Sales Jr. (Ret.) as the resource speaker, who shared valuable insights and expertise on bomb threat management, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety.

The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness and response capabilities of employees through discussions, simulations, and practical exercises focused on bomb threat management, emergency evacuation, incident coordination, and workplace safety protocols.

Part of the training included an actual demonstration and simulation conducted by the Sarangani Provincial EOD/K9 Unit. The team shared valuable knowledge on explosive ordnance awareness, different types of explosive devices, bomb threat response procedures, and proper coordination during emergency situations. Their expertise and hands-on demonstration provided participants with a deeper understanding of the importance of vigilance, preparedness, and immediate response during critical incidents.

The activity also highlighted the importance of collaboration, alertness, and presence of mind in ensuring the safety and security of employees, clients, and the community during emergencies. Through practicum sessions and simulation exercises, participants were given the opportunity to apply what they learned in realistic emergency scenarios.

The successful conduct of the training reflects the Provincial Government’s continued commitment to promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, resilience, and security within the workplace and the community.

Strengthening collaboration and driving performance excellence, the Human Resource Management and Development Office, led by Assistant Provincial Administrator Atty. Divine Grace Sumaira T. Fernandez, RMT, formally opened Day 1 of the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 (𝐃𝐏𝐂𝐑) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 (𝐈𝐏𝐂𝐑)) presentation in support of the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) enhancement toward PRIME-HRM recognition.

The session was further enriched by the insights and recommendations of Ms. Jelyn E. Apura, Mr. Allan N. Amoroso, and Ms. Glenda S. Revaño, alongside representatives from various departments, reflecting a common goal of improving processes and service delivery across offices.

In celebration of Mother’s Day observed every second Sunday of May, the Provincial Local Government Unit extends its warmest appreciation to all mothers whose presence continues to bring inspiration within the workplace and beyond.

The activity also placed emphasis on the dual role of mothers who continue to balance professional responsibilities in public service with their personal commitments at home. Their everyday experience reflects strength in managing both spaces with patience and a heart.

In the spirit of the management’s recognition, the celebration forms part of its broader effort to foster a workplace culture that is inclusive and mindful of employee well-being. It is a simple yet meaningful appreciation of the realities and contributions of working mothers within the institution.

In a continuing stride toward PRIME-HRM recognition, the Human Resource Management and Development Office of Sarangani advances the enhancement of its Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS).

The activity positions SPMS as a key driver of alignment and organizational effectiveness, fortifying how performance is managed and sustained across the workforce.

Led by HRMDO Office-in-Charge and Assistant Provincial Administrator, Atty. Divine Grace Sumaira T. Fernandez, RMT, and anchored on the firm direction and unflagging support of Governor Rogelio D. Pacquiao, MMPA, the initiative aligns with the province’s long-term direction for a more capable and future-ready public service.

In support of this endeavor, the Civil Service Commission Regional Office XII and Civil Service Commission Field Office SarGen provided technical expertise through resource speakers and facilitators Mariam Amabelle C. Salcedo, Chief Human Resource Specialist, and Edna C. Nebrija-Mahinay, Director II.
