✨ 3rd Delivery – Supplementary Feeding Program ✨

The 3rd delivery of the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) for the 16th Cycle, School Year 2026, was successfully conducted at Municipal Gymnasium, Alamada, Cotabato.

This important initiative will benefit a total of 2,234 children across the municipality, supporting their nutritional needs and contributing to their healthy growth and holistic development.

The program is spearheaded by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Alamada under the dedicated leadership of Ma'am Xairene S. Comeda, Day Care Program Focal Person.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII for its continued support and partnership in promoting child nutrition and welfare. Our heartfelt thanks as well to Barangay Polayagan for providing the venue and support for the successful conduct of the activity.

Together, we continue to work toward a healthier and brighter future for every child. 🌟

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Alamada, headed by Ma’am Aloha T. Ballos, RSW, MTSW, with the assistance of Program Focal Ma’am Irish April B. Casiano, RSW, MPA, held a planning meeting with representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) in preparation for the upcoming Children’s Month celebration this November in 2nd Floor, Conference Room, Alamada,Cotabato.

The meeting focused on the planning and coordination of the proposed activities, including the schedule, participation, and other important arrangements to ensure the successful implementation of the celebration.

The MSWDO extends its appreciation to the DepEd representatives for their time, valuable inputs, and continued support in promoting the rights, protection, and welfare of children in the Municipality of Alamada.

✨DSWD Project LAWA at BINHI – Food for Work Distribution✨

The DSWD Project LAWA at BINHI facilitated the release of Food for Work to beneficiaries in Brgy. Polayagan after completing two days of rehabilitation and improvement activities for the communal garden and fishpond.

The activity aims to support participating families while promoting community participation, food security, and sustainable livelihood through the development and rehabilitation of community-based agricultural resources. The initiative also encourages beneficiaries to work together in improving productive spaces that can benefit the community in the long term.

‎The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Alamada, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), was invited to participate in the School-Based Training Seminar on “Caring for Our Children: Safe, Protected & Empowered" held at Mirasol, Alamada,Cotabato.
‎
‎As part of the Local Council Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC) advocacy, the MSWDO, represented by Ma’am Gladdy A. Dalida, RSW, MPA, facilitated a discussion on Responsible Parenthood, emphasizing the important role of parents in providing proper care, guidance, protection, and support to their children.

‎The activity strengthened the collaboration among the school, parents, students, and partner stakeholders in promoting child protection, family welfare, and a safe and nurturing environment for children.
‎
