On 03 May 2025, the Visayas State University Alangalang Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit conducted Saturday Instruction under the guidance of MAJ EDWIN S RAMONES PA (RES), Commandant, along with the cadet officers.

At 0800, cadets gathered at the VSUA Main Plaza for knot-tying training. The session continued at 1330, allowing them to further develop their skills in this area. The cadets were dismissed at 1700 on the same day.

On 26 April 2025, the Visayas State University Alangalang Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit conducted saturday instruction under the guidance of MAJ EDWIN S RAMONES PA (RES), Commandant, along with the cadet officers.

At 0800, cadets gathered in the VSUA Main plaza for their designated areas: semaphore and knot tying. The session continued at 1330, allowing them to further develop their skills in these areas. The cadets were dismissed at approximately 1600 on the same day.

Today, 050600 April 2025, the Visayas State University Alangalang Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit conducted Basic Formation under the guidance of LTC ERWIN OSCAR P RIPALDA PA (Res), our ROTC Commandant, along with 1CL and 2CL Officers.

At 0600, the formation starts with a reveille led by the advance officers. At 0800, the cadets participated in drills at VSU-A Main Plaza. At 1300, the drills continue at Envi Building, guided by the advance officers. At 1430, cadets were dismissed.

On 290600 March 2025, the Visayas State University Alangalang Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit conducted Basic Formation with the guidance of LTC ERWIN OSCAR P RIPALDA PA (Res), our ROTC Commandant and together with the VSU-A GMA's, 1CL and 2CL Officers.

At 0800, cadets gathered at lecture room to take their Second Semester Midterm Examination A.Y. 2024-2025. At 1300, they proceed to Main Plaza and started the practical on Squad Formation: Squad Tactical Operations . At 1600 , the cadets were dismissed.

On 220600 March 2025, the Visayas State University Alangalang Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit conducted Basic Formation under the guidance of LTC ERWIN OSCAR P RIPALDA PA (Res), our ROTC Commandant, along with GMA's, 1CL and 2CL Officers.

At 0600, the formation starts with a reveille of advance officers. At 0800, LTC ERWIN OSCAR P RIPALDA PA (Res), our ROTC Commandant, led a lecture on Squad Tactical Operations and Battle Drills. At 1320, Cdt/Ltc Jayvee C Bacus 1CL and Cdt/Ltc Wilma D Pore 1CL led a lecture on Rope Techniques. At 1430, the cadets executed the different squad formation guided by the Advance Officers at VSU Main Plaza. At 1600, cadets were dismissed.

On 015600 March 2025, the Visayas State University Alangalang Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit conducted Basic Formation under the guidance of LTC ERWIN OSCAR P RIPALDA PA (Res), our ROTC Commandant, along with 1CL and 2CL Officers.

At 0600, the formation starts with a reveille of advance officers. At 0800, Sgt Roel B Dioresma (AGS) PA, our Admin NCO led a lecture on Combat Training for Individual Training and Signal Communication . At 1330, Cdt/Ltc Mayce Fea G Baluis 1CL led a lecture on Military Correspondence. At 1530, the cadets participated in drills guided by the advance officers. At 1600, cadets were dismissed.

SIMULTANEOUS AFP-WIDE BLOOD DONATION ACTIVITY

On 090800 March 2025, Visayas State University Alangalang ROTC Unit Cadet Officers participated in the conduct of Simultaneous AFP-Wide Blood Donation Activity in Connection with the 89TH AFP Anniversary Celebration with the theme "Dugong Alay ng Lang Kawal at mga Makabaging Bayani Tungod sa Matatag na Sandigan ng Bagong Pilipinas", at Barangay San Jose, District 1, Poblacion, Dagami, Leyte.

Wherein, the 804th RCDG of the Philippine Army hosted a successful PA-wide blood donation activity, uniting different units under the supervision of COL ALFRED E RAMONES (GSC) PA, CDC Director together with LTC ERWIN OSCAR P RIPALDA PA (RES), VSU ROTC Commandant, 1LT HERMINIGILDO H APORDO PA (RES), also Sgt William A Barron Jr (CE) PA, Cpl Vicente B Obaob (Inf) PA Sgt Ariel Tocjayao (Inf) PA. And led by the Group Commander of the 8RCDG, COL CASTOR O BAHIN (GSC) PA, the event saw active participation from various units, which are Active Personnel, Reservist Personnel, Army Officials, Enlisted Personnel, Advance Officers and ROTC Cadets.

Indeed, it creates an opportunity to contribute to the welfare of the community, fostering a spirit of unity and compassion. Let us work together in promoting community based voluntary blood donation. As each drop of blood donated could save life and leave a lasting impact on someone in need.

GIVE LIFE. GIVE BLOOD. GIVE HOPE TO LIVE.

At 1000, C/Ltc Shandie Estonio 1Cl also delivered a lecture on Drills and Ceremony. At 1300, the cadets participated in drills guided by the advance officers. At 1500, cadets were dismissed.
